Prepare for Things Remembered's Tests

Regardless of the role you are interested in pursuing at Things Remembered, you will still need to go through quite a few stages in their hiring process. These stages will often include:

  • Online Application: To begin the application process you will first need to select a vacant position from the Things Remembered careers page. To complete the online application and upload your resume you will need to create a new user account unless you already have one.
  • Pre-Employment Tests: Regardless of the position you have decided to apply for, you may be required to take one or more aptitude tests. These tests will evaluate a variety of key skills necessary for the vacancy.
  • Phone Interview: If you have passed your pre-employment exam you should be reached out to by a member of the recruitment team. Phone interviews will generally go over your resume, work experience, availability, and salary expectations.
  • Face-To-Face Interviews: Prior to receiving a job offer you will need to participate in one or more personal interviews. These interviews will either be held with one interviewer or with a panel of interviewers.

Things Remembered uses the iCIMS recruitment software. To ensure that your application and resume will be accepted for the position you have applied for, please see our page on iCIMS Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) here.

Before working at Things Remembered, you will need to go through a variety of tests and interviews. During your interviews, you will be asked many behavioral and situation questions. These questions will help gauge how you will interact with customers, co-workers, as well as the job at hand. Below you will find examples of questions that you may be asked during this process:

  • Why do you feel that you will be an asset to the company?
  • Describe a time you had to deal with an irate customer. How did you handle the situation?
  • Describe a time when you saw another employee go against company policy. What did you do about the situation?
  • Why would you like to work at Things Remembered?

We recommend that you utilize the STAR interview method when answering behavioral questions as it will help keep your responses both structured and engaging.
