Target Application Process

If you are applying online for a job at Target, you will come across the Target Application Questionnaire. After completing five steps on your job application - including background information, your resume, references, and preferences - the questionnaire will appear on your screen. The Target Application Questionnaire, provided usually by the Kenexa company, is a personality assessment. The test is made of multiple choice questions relevant to personality, situational judgment, and your personal background. The Target assessment test should take between 20-30 minutes to complete.

Target Career Opportunities

Target is the second largest retail company in the United States. It offers a variety of career opportunities, both long and short term, as well as yearly positions and seasonal positions. Within these positions, there are two main opportunities available: distribution and retail. Distribution positions entail everything from logistics and engineering to packing and warehouse operations. Retail is the more visible and prominent aspect of Target. Retail positions vary from sales representatives and cashiers to human resources and facilities management. Applicants for all of the aforementioned positions must pass the application questionnaire in order to advance to an in-person interview.
