About OhioHealth PrepPacks™

Our preparation packs offer detailed guides and other training materials to help you pass all the stages of your OhioHealth recruitment process

Situational Judgement Tests

There are typically between 25 – 50 scenarios on any given SJT. The scenarios are usually engaging and challenging. After you are presented with a scenario you will then have to either find the most (or least) suitable response to the scenario or rank/rate the responses in order of effectiveness.

Abstract Reasoning Test

The Figural Series is a visual test with no words, presenting a series of shapes with patterns you must solve using abstract thinking skills. You are presented with a series of figures, and you must find the correct answer that completes the series. The frames advance from left to right in a certain way. You must try to predict the next shape in the sequence from the options listed.

Microsoft Excel Assessments Test

The Excel User Test enables employers to carefully assess a candidate's Microsoft Excel skills, as well as to decide if they are qualified for the offered position. There are typically between 10 and 25 questions per test.

OhioHealth Interview Process

So, you have passed the company’s initial screening process and have been invited for an interview. Knowing what to expect during the interview, whether it be held over the phone, via video, or face-to-face, is crucial to being offered the position. The interview process will help the company gain further insight into your workplace competencies and persona. By researching and familiarizing yourself with the behaviors and qualities associatedto the position you have applied for, you will heighten your chances of being offered the position in the end.

How to select the correct response in my SJT?

Read each of the given scenarios and each possible response carefully before answering. Though one answer choice may seem appropriate, there may be another one which is more sensible. If the question asks you to rank the responses, compare them to each other. However, keep in mind that all the responses may be effective or they may all be ineffective - your task is to rank the responses, not decide if they are right or wrong.

How can JobTestPrep Help me to Prepare for my Mathematical Reasoning Test?

Practicing is the best way to prepare for any test. This is especially true for numerical reasoning tests where concepts you haven’t used or even seen in years are bound to come up. Numerical reasoning questions are easy to find, but getting the answers to check your work and see where you need improvement is key! Our practice packs include answers and explanations to make sure you are fully prepared for test day. Seeing the questions in the right format can make all difference in your test performance. Explore our numerical test examples to familiarize yourself with the question structure as well as on how to submit your answers. Make sure test day holds no surprises.

Are There Right or Wrong Answers on Personality Tests?

Those who administer personality assessment tests claim there are no "right" or "wrong" answers and often refer to personality tests as personality "questionnaires" instead of "tests." This is untrue. A personality assessment serves as a tool to help find the person who fulfills the criteria of a specific position. Therefore, there are right and wrong answers associated with specific positions. Preparing for the personality test in advance will allow you to become well-acquainted with the types of questions asked and what the optimal answers are.
