Prepare for Norplex-Micarta Recruitment Process
For each and every position, there is a different hiring process that depends on your experience, the type of job and its level, and other parameters. The basic steps are:
Online Application: Edit and update your resume, and send it to the relevant position.
Phone Interview: Expect a phone call from the HR manager. Prepare by reading up about the company, going through your resume, and highlighting important parts of it.
Interview: You will have a meeting with the professional manager.
Exams: Several tests could be part of the process.
Norplex-Micarta’s Aptitude Tests
You might be asked to take the following tests (or some of them):
Mathematical reasoning: Assesses your quantitative abilities; composed of multiple-choice arithmetic questions.
Abstract/ Figural reasoning: Examines your non-verbal abilities, general intelligence and abstract thinking. In this test, you identify a missing diagram, or item, that completes a logical pattern.
SJT: In the situation judgment test, you will be given different scenarios and conflicts, and asked for the best way to solve them, in order to assess your problem-solving skills.
Verbal: Evaluates your grammar, vocabulary, spelling, reading comprehension, and how you analyze text.
Personality: Measures your work-related characteristics and behavior, with True/False questions, Likert Scale and so on. The idea is to see if your personality is a good fit for the role and company.
Excel 2016: Tests your level and knowledge in Microsoft Excel 2016.
Remember that the assessments are time-limited. Therefore, if you study properly beforehand, you have better chances to succeed in real-time.
