During the Levi Strauss & Co. interview process, you should expect to be interviewed in a number of different ways. This process will generally begin with an initial screening interview held over the phone with a representative from the HR department. This first interview will include questions regarding your prior work experience, availability, and salary expectations.
A successful phone interview will often be followed up with a request to attend a face-to-face interview. Companies like Levi Strauss & Co. will either hold their face-to-face interviews in a one-on-one format, as a group or panel.
The Aptitude Test has long become a more accurate alternative to other method of pre-employment assessment. It was created because employers realized that interviewing people or walking them through their résumé did not correctly predict their future performance at work. The Aptitude Test evaluates applicants’ various cognitive abilities and reactions to certain situations and, therefore, becomes a better way to winnow out undesirable candidates. There are several types of the Aptitude Test, each of which estimates different sets of candidates’ abilities. Whereas the Numerical and Verbal Reasoning Tests respectively evaluate applicants’ skills to perform basic arithmetic operations and analyze written information, the Diagrammatical Reasoning Test measures how well they understand data presented in charts and diagrams. Neither numerical questions nor verbal problems are particularly difficult. Yet answering all questions correctly on the test does not come naturally. Job candidates should practice before they set their foot in the examination room. JobTestPrep has created high-quality practice materials that can lead any applicant to a job offer.
The tests can either come in interactive or linear formatting. In the interactive format each question can dictate the following string of questioning in a flow of thought, while the linear places every question in its own box. Some answers will necessitate a specific solution, while others rely on a multi layered resolution.
When you arrive to the face-to-face interview, do your best to be punctual. You do not want to keep interviewers waiting for you and, in so doing, antagonize them, even before you start answering questions. You may also need to have few minutes before the interview to collect your thoughts. Always remember the names of your interviewers. When you are called for the second round of the interview process, you will score more points, if you remember names of the people who interviewed you before. During the interview, try to stay cool under all provocations. Interviewers may challenge your answers only to see how you behave under pressure. You will strengthen a good impression you are making on the recruiters, if you avoid being confrontational in response to their attack. Do not lie. You may do yourself a huge disservice, if you tell tall tales on the interview. Instead of benefitting you, lies may cost you a job offer.
In many companies, a hiring process is complex and involves several stages. First, you need to upload your résumé and other recommendations onto the company’s website. After your résumé has been screened, you will be scheduled for a phone interview with a Human Resources manager. If you create a favorable impression during the phone interview, you will be invited to take one of the company’s tests, including a personality assessment. Provided you have excelled on your test, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview held in one of the company’s location. If the company decides to hire you, you may be asked to have a background check, after which you may be offered a position.
