Prepare for ALDO's Tests

The ALDO hiring process is made up of different stages regardless of if you have applied for a corporate or in-store position. The hiring process includes:

  • Application Process: More often than not, you will need to apply and upload your resume online from the ALDO Career Opportunities webpage. If you are applying for an in-store position, you may also have the option to apply in person.
  • Phone Screening: If your application and resume are a match for the competencies and skills for the job being offered, you will receive a call from either a hiring manager or recruiter for the company. The phone screening will generally cover basic information regarding your availability and resume.
  • Pre-Hire Exam: Depending on the role you are pursuing within the company, you may need to take an assessment test to evaluate your particular skill sets in regard to the position.
  • In-Person Interviews: Your in-person interviews will often go more in-depth regarding your previous work history, your skill sets, and your resume. Face-to-face interviews are often held one-on-one, however, group interviews are becoming increasingly more popular.

ALDO's Aptitude Tests

The ALDO test may include a variety of psychometric-style assessments which are used to gauge your strengths and weakness in the following areas:

The combination of your resume, test scores, and interviews help to paint a better picture of your skills and abilities as they pertain to the job being offered. If your overall profile happens to be a match for the competencies and skills being looked for, you are more likely to receive a job offer in the end.

ALDO's Interview Questions

Your interviews are designed to gather more background information from you to determine whether you will be a good fit for the job description, as well as the company culture. We have included several sample ALDO interview questions below to give you an idea of what you may be asked during the interview process:

  • Why would you like to work here?
  • How will your previous experience come into play with your new role?
  • Describe a time a customer was not happy, and what you did to resolve the issue
  • What would you do if you caught a co-worker stealing?

For behavioral questions, we recommend using the STAR interview method when responding to your interviewer. For more detailed information regarding the interview process, we recommend using our interview preparation materials
