International Personality Item Pool (IPIP) is the first public domain of personality assessment items. There are over 3,000 items and over 250 scales that have been constructed from these items. IPIP also created its own personality test—IPIP-NEO— which assesses people on the Big Five model of Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism. The Big Five Personality Tests can teach you more.
The IPIP-NEO has two versions. The original IPIP-NEO inventory contains 300 items, which usually take 30–40 minutes to complete. The short version of the IPIP-NEO measures the same traits as the original IPIP-NEO, but with fewer items. The short IPIP-NEO inventory uses 120 items and takes around 20–30 minutes to complete.
The IPIP-NEO can be used by companies hiring on a large scale. It compares scores between possible candidates in order to find the most suitable person for a particular position. Preparing for the test will maximize your chances of being chosen for your desired job.
Our personality practice tests prepare you for any of the personality tests listed above. We not only provide a score report for our personality tests, but we also offer explanations for each scale. One of our new features is an ideal personality profile guide that not only matches your scores to the ideal scores, but also gives you an idea of what traits are looked for in specific job positions. This new guide is guaranteed to help you get the score you need for whatever job you are applying for.
