New Hampshire Police Exams
Each department may require different exams. Many police departments in New Hampshire fall under the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council. They require you to take a written exam. You can take the exam at three different locations: NHTI - Concord's Community College, Great Bay Community College and River Valley Community College. The exam that they administer in the IPMA-HR police entry-level exam.
The New Hampshire State Trooper exam is a general aptitude test consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions. You will have up to 3 hours to complete the exam. The exam measures your ability to write reports and keep records which tests spelling and grammar usage, your ability to read, comprehend, and comply with written directions, reading comprehension, ability to make decisions based on data, basic mathematic skills and knowledge of general law enforcement related vocabulary, public relations, and employee/employer relations.
