Vista Equity Partners Test (CCAT Test) Practice

Vista Equity Partners Test - The Vista CCAT Test

Vista hires applicants who score well on their CCAT assessment, have leadership potential, and possess a high emotional intelligence quotient.

This aptitude test was recently used by Vista to determine 6,000 new hires from 125,000 applicants. Scoring within the top percentile of candidates is the key to achieving employment at a Vista Equity Partners company.

The Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT) is a pre-employment measurement of candidates' cognitive aptitude for work. The test evaluates their ability to understand and process new information, learn new skills, think critically, and solve problems.

To measure these cognitive abilities precisely and accurately, the test is divided into three parts:

  • Math and Logic
  • Verbal Skills
  • Spatial Reasoning

Questions posed on the CCAT are of varying difficulty. Yet the real challenge that you face on the examination is not the difficulty of questions but a short time limit. You are given only 15 minutes to answer 50 items. This means that you will have around 30 seconds to answer each question.

How to Practice for the Vista CCAT Test

You cannot answer questions on the CCAT so quickly if you come to your pre-employment examination unprepared. With our high-quality practice materials, you can bring your abilities to solve mathematical, logical, and verbal problems to new heights.

By practicing, you can also significantly improve your time record and complete all tasks on the test within 15 minutes or even quicker.

Our Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test is so designed that you can track your progress and see how quickly you answer its questions, while you are practicing at home. Another benefit is that you can see your scores not only for the whole test but also for each individual part of it.

Knowing scores for each separate section will allow you to identify your weak points and redouble your efforts to eliminate them before you take your pre-employment test in the company.

The Vista Equity CCAT Scores Explained

There are two ways to count your score for the CCAT. You can either receive a so-called raw score, which counts only your correct answers, or you can be given a percentile score, measured relative to scores received by other job candidates.

If on the percentile counting, you receive 79%, this does not mean that you answered 79% of questions correctly. This score only means that you did better on the examination than 79% of other candidates competing for a similar position. Because your score is calculated relative to other applicants, it is crucial to outdo them on the examination.

Study with our exclusive PrepPack™ and leave your competitors behind. The more you work on CCAT practice tests, the more you increase your speed and accuracy.

Insider Information from One of Our Customers

'It is a well-structured company. In light of this, it is important that you organize your thoughts on the subject matter, and provide concise answers which demonstrate why would you be beneficial for the company. I took the CCAT cognitive and a personality test. The cognitive test was difficult. It seemed like it was designed to apply pressure by not having enough time to answer the questions.'
