The SAEE Test is designed to see whether you have the reasoning skills, judgment, attention to detail, and professional behaviors needed to succeed as a Secret Service Special Agent. Instead of just testing knowledge, it looks at how you think, react, and make decisions in realistic situations. The exam is made up of five parts:
- Logic-Based Reasoning: You read short fact sets and decide whether statements are true, false, or impossible to determine. This shows how well you analyze information under pressure.
- Experience Inventory (Parts 1 & 2): You answer questions about your past behaviors and work style. This helps assess whether your approach meets the expectations of a Special Agent.
- Language Usage: You review short memos and summary reports to identify grammar, punctuation, and clarity issues. This section checks the accuracy of your written communication.
- Detail Observation: You study a photo briefly, answer a few unrelated questions, and then recall specific details. This measures how well you notice and remember important information.
Overall, the SAEE measures how you think, communicate, stay composed, and notice critical details, all essential qualities for anyone who wants to become a Secret Service Special Agent.
