  • Assessment tests - Depending on the position for which you're applying, you may be required to take a variety of pre-employment assessment tests.
  • Interview - You may encounter a panel interview, group interview, or several back-to-back one-on-one interviews. Regardless, be prepared to answer behavioral questions using the STAR method
  • Background check & drug test - It's imperative that airlines hire not only the most qualified but the safest candidates. Therefore, be prepared to undergo a background check and drug test.
  • Pre-employment training (for entry-level jobs) - If you are entering an entry-level position, you may be subjected to training, in order to ensure that you learn the proper procedures and protocols. 

Boeing Interview

If you passed your tests well, chances are that you will be invited for an in-person interview. This interview is usually held in one of the Boeing’s locations. There, you will have an opportunity to talk to managers of several departments, most relevant to the position for which you applied. These managers will talk to you about your future role, asking you competency-based questions in order to measure your suitability for the job. They will also talk to you about the Boeing’s structure and its business goals. If you create a favorable impression on the managers, you may be asked to do a background and drug check, after which, if your police record is good, you may be offered the job. 

What Questions Do the Boeing's Representatives Ask in a Phone Interview?

After you have uploaded your résumé and cover letter onto the Boeing's website, you will have a phone interview with its Human Resources manager who will ask you questions mostly about your education, working experience, and career goals. You may also discuss the company’s business objectives, your future duties, and benefits you will be given, if you qualify for the position. If your phone interview goes well, you will receive a link to the online test that you need to pass in order to move to the next stage in the hiring process.
