The AON Inductive Logical Thinking Test, also known as the cut-e scale CLS, is an inductive logical reasoning test included in the cut-e pre-employment assessments. The test is usually taken together with the cut-e Numerical Reasoning Aptitude Test and the Verbal Reasoning Aptitude Test.

The cut-e Scales CLS (AON Inductive-Logical Thinking Test) assesses your ability to recognize rules, identify patterns, and apply inductive reasoning.
This Logical Thinking Test has 12 questions with a 12-minute time limit—1 minute per question. You’ll see two groups of 3×3 grids with numbers and letters. In the upper section, six grids have colored markings indicating a shared pattern.
Your task is to determine this rule and then assign four unmarked grids in the lower section to the correct category based on that rule.
The following questions feature a top row containing six grids, classified by an unknown pattern: some are marked above them, and others are marked below.
The task calls on you to deduce the pattern, and use it to categorize the grids in the bottom row.
The cut-e Scales cls evaluates your ability to identify rules, patterns, and interrelations from complex new information. This ability indicates your inductive reasoning competencies and reflects how you make logical decisions based on limited data.
