1. Apply online: Submit your application form, CV and resume through the company's website, a recruiter, or an interview platform like HireVue.
2. Phone Interview: You will be invited to a preliminary phone interview. The interviewer will ask you questions about your work history. You should answer questions in the S.T.A.R. format: describe the situation, detail the task you were assigned, explain the action you took, and delineate the result.
3. Assessment Tests: You will need to take a variety of assessment tests, depending on the position for which you are applying. These tests include personality tests, logical reasoning tests, situational judgment tests, and Wonderlic tests.
4. Interviews: You will likely have a virtual interview or a video interview, like a HireVue interview, and more than one in-person interview. For consultant positions, you will need to complete a case interview, where you are given a scenario and must go through the steps of solving a problem or issue. These can be extremely challenging and require you to practice beforehand. You will also have a behavioral interview, where you will be asked about your work experience. You will also be asked technical questions. For executive assistant jobs, you will need to complete simulations, such as answering emails and making appointments. Interviewers are trying to get a feel for your personality, so be professional and friendly.
