Daniel B., candidate for a position at ReliaQuest

ReliaQuest Caliper-Style Personality Test

The Caliper-style assessment is available online and in pen and paper formats. This is a multiple-choice exam with 180 questions. While most applicants spend between two to three 3 hours taking the Caliper personality test, there is no actual time limit. It is essential that you answer every question, as the Caliper test cannot be scored if there are any blank spaces on the answer sheet.

ReliaQuest SJT Test

The scenarios presented on SJTs always ask for a resolution of a given conflict which, although being hypothetical, might very much rely on, or represent, realistic situations that occur in a workplace. You will then be asked to choose a preferred method of action out of a number of possible options. You are encouraged to choose your responses spontaneously, based on intuition; however, analyzing the scenarios and choosing responses that highlight your skills will allow you to better present yourself on the test.

ReliaQuest Interview

To get ready for your interview, you may find it useful to practice with our exclusive interview materials. They will prepare you both to the phone interview and in-person interview. The ReliaQuest’s phone interview is usually conducted by its Human Resources manager. Expect to talk about your education, working experience, and potential job at the ReliaQuest. You may also need to answer competency-based questions. After you successfully complete the ReliaQuest’s tests, you may be asked to come for an in-person interview. It is usually conducted by a Human Resources representative, several managers, or team leaders. They will ask you situational questions. You may find it helpful to think in advance about a specific situation that was challenging and that you needed to resolve in your previous workplace. Think about the solution that you chose in that situation and about other alternatives that you discarded as unhelpful. If you applied for a technical position, you may also be asked technical questions relevant to your field of expertise.

How Can JobTestPrep Help Me to Prepare for My ReliaQuest Mathematical Reasoning Tests?

Practicing is the best way to prepare for any test. This is especially true for numerical reasoning tests where concepts you haven’t used or even seen in years are bound to come up. Mathematical reasoning questions are easy to find, but getting the answers to check your work and see where you need improvement is key! Our practice packs include answers and explanations to make sure you are fully prepared for test day. Seeing the questions in the right format can make all difference in your test performance.

What Questions do the ReliaQuest's Representatives ask in a Phone Interview?

After you have uploaded your résumé and cover letter onto the ReliaQuest's website, you will have a phone interview with its Human Resources manager who will ask you questions mostly about your education, working experience, and career goals. You may also discuss the company’s business objectives, your future duties, and benefits you will be given, if you qualify for the position. If your phone interview goes well, you will receive a link to the online test that you need to pass in order to move to the next stage in the hiring process.

How is the Verbal Reasoning Test Scored?

Most of the Verbal Reasoning tests do not have a predetermined passing score. Your score is calculated in relation to the scores of other applicants who are vying for similar positions. The number of your correct answers, called raw score, is compared to raw scores of people applying for a position in your area. Such a calculating method can sometimes be disadvantageous, since your correct answers would not necessary bespeak good results. Even if you answer correctly 27 out of 30 questions, your test will not be deemed successful, if it turns out that other job candidates answered 29 questions correctly. If most of the test takers get more questions right than you do, this means that your score on the Verbal Reasoning Test is lower than the average result of your competitors.
