Both the Logical and Verbal Reasoning Tests assess prospective associates' different cognitive abilities, ranging from logical thinking to comprehending verbal statements and conclusions made from them.

The Logical Reasoning Test is utilized by J.P. Morgan Chase to measure job applicants' ability to analyze number sequences, patterns, and relationships between various shapes. It evaluates their structured thinking and ability to identify and isolate different components of any given argument. 

Verbal reasoning typically encompasses the following aptitude tests: English proficiency, grammar and spelling, vocabulary, written communication, and reading comprehension.
