Nevada Police Exam Preparation

The LVMPD require you to take two exams the Darany & Associates Entry Level Police Exam and Ergometics FrontLine Test. Find out more about how to join the LVMPD.

For both of the Henderson Nevada police department and City of North LV, you will need to take the NTN FrontLine Tests. The FrontLine Testing System has three parts: a video-based human relations test, a reading ability test and a report writing test. All exams take approximately 2 hours.

The Reno Police Department require you to take the Darany & Associates Entry Level Police Exam. The exam measures your ability to follow verbal and written instructions which is important for the job. The test also measures your ability to observe and recall facts and details, written communication skills, ability to demonstrate reading comprehension to understand written information and your ability to demonstrate organizational citizenship. The exam is approximately 4 hours. This written exam contains four sections with a total of 169 questions. The four sections on the exam are Accuracy of Observation, Written Communication Skills, Reading with Understanding and Biographical Inventory.
