Word Power User

Succeed in All Areas of Your Robert Half Recruitment Process

There is no need to feel intimidated by the Robert Half assessment tests with JobTestPrep on your side. Our in-depth practice materials and comprehensive study guides will ensure that you have a leg up on other candidates throughout the Robert Half hiring process.

Robert Half Interview Policy

Robert Half will most likely begin with a screening interview phone call. After seeing that your resume fits the bill, a representative will call you to ask a series of brief background and technical questions to further weed out unwanted candidates. The next stage will usually entail a sit-down face to face interview where you will be asked more in-depth questions on subjects not covered during the initial phone screening or written application. Be ready for curve ball questions and open-ended question that provide your interviewer with more background info. Feel free to ask your own follow up questions to gain clarity and better focus your remarks.

Will I be able to use a calculator on the Mathematical Test?

Some tests allow the use of a calculator but they do not provide one for you so you will have to bring your own. However, most math tests do not allow a calculator, but will supply scratch paper, so you may want to practice doing the math section without a calculator.

How Long does Robert Half Hiring Process Take?

The hiring process depends on the number of tasks you have to fulfil. Typically, there are hundreds, if not thousands of candidates are applying for the same job. While most of them are filtered out through the use of online tests, that still leaves many who have to go through face to face assessments and interviews. We can make some generalizations though. Online tests and automatic application screening typically takes no more than a week. However, you will only know if you have got through to the next stage of the application process once the job posting has been closed. The company will normally take some time to come up with a shortlist of candidates who should attend interviews. We can, therefore, say that the entire process can take up to six months.
