Monsanto Pre-Hire Tips

The hiring process between each Monsanto career path may differ, but in order to help you get a sense of what your hiring process may look like, let’s look at Research Associate position.

Research Associate Hiring Process:

  • Phone Screening: You can expect the HR screening phone call to last about 25 minutes. HR will provide you with more details about the position and the representative will review your resume and skill sets. The goal is to see if you are generally right for the position
  • The Email: After a successful competition of the screening phone call, the company will send you an email, which will include the names of those will be present and types of questions that may be asked. This is very valuable to your success.
  • In-Person Panel Interview: The panel interview will include 5 people who will ask you mainly behavioral based questions with a few technical questions thrown in to the mix. The interview will take between 40 min to an hour.

Monsanto Pre-Hire Exam

While various positions may require taking different tests, the Wonderlic cognitive test will almost certainly show.

Wonderlic Cognitive Ability Test

This test has 50 questions and must be completed within 12 minutes. With just over 14 seconds per question, the Wonderlic Cognitive Ability Test, also named Wonderlic Personnel Test, requires strong analytic skills, quick response times, and good decision-making under time pressure. It is used mainly in job selection and admissions processes and includes math, English, logic, general knowledge, and clerical multiple-choice questions.
