Whether you are applying for one of Unifrax’s business development programs, internships, or professional job openings, there will be many different steps in the recruitment process. These steps include:

  • Application Process: To apply for a position or program with Unifrax, you will need to do so through your college/ university or online directly. Make sure that your resume is up-to-date prior to submission and highlight your skills and abilities as they pertain to the position or program being offered.
  • Phone Interview: Once your application and resume have gone through and passed the initial screening process, you should expect to be invited to participate in a phone interview. This type of interview usually last between 10-30 minutes and may include questions regarding your relevant experience and skills.
  • Pre-Hire Tests: Depending on the position or program you may be required to take one or more pre-hire assessment tests. The most common of these tests regardless of the role ™™you are pursuing is the Caliper Profile Test.
  • On-Site Interviews: If you pass your pre-hire exam or tests you will then need to participate in one or more in-person interviews. Your interview or interviews will either be held one-on-one or in a group/ panel format.

Unifrax Caliper & Pre-Hire Tests

Unifrax will often use a variety of aptitude and psychometric tests in order to measure an applicant’s potential job performance. The most common test that applicants will face is the Caliper Profile Test which is a personality test. This test evaluates a number characteristics and traits desired by Unifrax and will determine your ability to progress further in the recruitment process.

It is often said that there are no right or wrong answers when taking a personality test, however, certain responses have the ability to negatively impact your overall personality profile in regard to the specific traits Unifrax is looking for in their employees. Being able to familiarize yourself with the Caliper test format, concepts, and answers will give you a definite advantage over other applicants. The Caliper personality test covers dozens of traits in the following areas:
