Misys Hiring Process & Assessment Tests

Although the job requirements and responsibilities differ, Misys generally has the same hiring process for its various job positions. This process consists of an online application, assessment tests, and various interviews.

The first step in the Misys hiring process is completing an online application that is put through Hirebridge's applicant tracking system (ATS). The Hirebridge ATS is used to screen your application, resume, CV, and cover letter. This applicant tracking system screens your documents for keyword-specific phrases, so be sure your documents properly align with the job description.

Once you have submitted your online application, a Misys recruiter will contact you within seven business days. 

If your application is successful, you will then be required to complete two Misys pre-employment assessment tests—cognitive and personality (each are explained further down the page). 

Once you have passed the aforementioned steps, expect to encounter three interviews. The first is an HR interview (here you will learn about the company and tell them about your experience), the second is a phone interview with the hiring manager (here you will learn more about the position and the team you may be working with), and the final interview is an in-person interview with the hiring manager and team.


What Is the Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT)?

Utilized in the hiring process, the Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT) is a general pre-employment aptitude test that measures your problem-solving abilities, skill learning capabilities, and critical thinking. It consists of 50 questions, has a 15-minute time limit, and is comprised of three question categories—math and logic, verbal ability, and spatial reasoning.

It's important to note that very few people manage to finish the entire test within the time limit.

CCAT scores are determined by a raw score, i.e. the number of questions answered correctly. This score can be translated into a percentile in order to indicate the examinee's result compared to other applicants.

It's also important to note that each job position has its own suggested range of raw scores, so try to figure out what your company and job position require.


Misys Personality Test

Utilized during the hiring process, the Misys personality test is a brief assessment that measures your compatibility to the company and the position for which you are applying. Additionally, it assesses your approach to work scenarios and colleagues.

Be sure to answer every question honestly, but strategically. Highlight your strengths and work-positive characteristics. For example, if you are applying for a managerial position, you will want to highlight your leadership and teamwork skills while avoiding "bossy" or "demanding" traits.
