Adaptive CCAT Prep: From Where You Start to the Score You Need
By David Meshulam, Founder of JobTestPrep · Updated October 7, 2026
The CCAT Adaptive PrepPack™ is adaptive learning for the CCAT: a plan that starts at your level, works toward the score your employer requires, and adjusts after every session. Whether your test is in three days or three weeks, the plan uses the time you have; as test day gets closer, it moves you to full-length simulations. You can start practicing right after checkout.
90 days of access, starting at checkout.
You enter your test date and the score your employer requires; the example in the platform is 80, and you set it to yours. If you don’t know the score yet, our CCAT score page explains how candidates find out. Then you take a short timed simulation with questions from every area. The report shows your score in each area and how you compare with other candidates on the platform. It also charts your score against your target over the days to your test. From here the plan knows where to start.
Learning sessions focus on the areas where you lose the most points. Each one is short, you get an explanation when an answer is wrong, and the report at the end tracks the difficulty level you have reached in that area against a mastery score, with guides linked for what still needs work. As your practice results change, the plan reorders what comes next, so you spend less time on what you already know and more on what will move your score.
The CCAT is 50 questions in 15 minutes across the three areas Criteria scores: math and logic, verbal ability, and spatial reasoning. Timed simulations show how your score is moving and what still needs work, and they get longer and closer to test conditions as your test approaches. In your last days the plan moves you to full-length simulations, each with its own report, so you spend that time the way test day will be spent: on pacing, on the question types you still miss, and on finishing on time.
Test in two days? The plan compresses. With a short runway, it moves you to full-length simulations almost immediately.
After every simulation and every session, Report Insights writes you a short report: what went well, what to focus on next, and which guide to read before your next session.
Your test date, the score you need, and your starting level shape your plan
You enter your test date and the score you need when you first open your PrepPack, before your training starts; a first short simulation then assesses your starting level.
The PrepPack prepares you for everything the CCAT scores. Criteria reports three sub-scores, math and logic together, verbal ability, and spatial reasoning; your PrepPack report breaks them down further and shows numerical, verbal, logic, and spatial separately, so you see where the points go. It covers all of them with more than 600 questions in two repeatable session types, learning sessions with full explanations and timed simulations, plus a score report after every simulation and a Learning Hub with written and video guides on strategy and time management.
Premium, 90 days, three PrepPacks. Many CCAT invitations come with more than one assessment: a personality questionnaire, an interview, sometimes a second aptitude test. Premium covers the CCAT and lets you add two more PrepPacks from our catalog for whatever else you are facing, for less than two of them bought separately. It is also the plan for a test date that is still weeks away.
Advanced, 30 days. The CCAT PrepPack alone, with enough runway for the plan to cycle through sessions and simulations more than once.
Basic, 7 days. The CCAT PrepPack alone, for a test this week.
Criteria, the publisher of the CCAT, also publishes personality assessments, and its own candidate page lists practice tests for them alongside the CCAT. If your invitation mentions a personality questionnaire, the Pre-Employment Personality Tests pack, offered under the plans, prepares you for the common formats.
If the next round after the test is a recorded or live interview, the Video Interview with AI Feedback pack lets you practice answers on camera and get feedback on them. Both are separate packs bought in the same checkout; your CCAT PrepPack stays as it is.
Candidates prepare here most often for Revolut, Crossover, Vista Equity Partners, Coinbase, Infoblox, and Fire and Rescue NSW. If your employer is among them, the linked pages describe what candidates report about the process. For a longer list of companies known to use the CCAT, see which companies use the CCAT.
Since 1992. JobTestPrep has built preparation for pre-employment assessments for more than thirty years; the adaptive CCAT PrepPack is its 2026 generation.
Money back if the content doesn’t match. If your PrepPack doesn’t match the test you take, you can request a full or proportional refund. The same applies if a technical problem keeps you from using it, or if you never used it at all. The conditions in full.

Built by test developers. The questions, explanations, and the adaptive plan come from JobTestPrep’s test development team.
Enter your test date and the plan builds itself around it. With two or three days, the plan is built the moment you enter the date, a short simulation calibrates it, and the platform moves you almost immediately to full-length simulations, with a score report after each one. Between simulations you work through short practice sessions on the areas where you lost points, with an explanation when you get an answer wrong. Most candidates who prepare here have a test within the week, and the plan is designed for that runway.
A study plan built around your test date and the score you need; a short diagnostic simulation that calibrates it; adaptive learning sessions that focus on the areas where you lose the most points, with an explanation when you get an answer wrong; full-length timed simulations, each with a score report showing your results by area and your percentile compared with other candidates on the platform; more than 600 questions across all CCAT areas; and a Learning Hub with guides on strategy and time management. Access runs for 7, 30, or 90 days, depending on the plan; the Premium plan also lets you add two more PrepPacks of your choice to your account.
Start with how many assessments you are facing. If the CCAT is not your only test, Premium gives you 90 days and two more PrepPacks of your choice, which you add to your account from our catalog after you buy. If the CCAT is your only test, choose by your test date: Advanced gives you the CCAT PrepPack for 30 days, Basic for 7. Your access period starts at checkout, so order on the day you want to start. When you first open your PrepPack, you set it up with your test date and the score your employer requires; a first short simulation then assesses your starting level, and your plan is built from all three.
You receive an order confirmation with a one-time password and a link to your first login; the invoice comes separately. You choose your own password, enter your test date and the score you need, and the plan is created. Your first step is a short diagnostic simulation that calibrates it. The platform runs in your web browser; nothing to install.
You can request a refund in three cases: if the content of the PrepPack doesn’t match your test, in full or in proportion; if a technical problem kept you from using it; or if you never used it. You send the request through our form and get an answer within five business days. The conditions in full.
No. The free CCAT practice test gives you one full-length simulation and twenty sample questions with explanations, enough to see the test and where you stand. The PrepPack builds a plan around your test date with more than 600 questions, adaptive learning sessions on your weakest areas, repeated timed simulations, and a score report after each one. If you have taken the free test and want to keep going, this is the next step.
Not in the sense of a fixed syllabus. A course takes everyone through the same material in the same order. The PrepPack starts from your first simulation and your test date, and it changes what you practice as your practice results change. If you have three days, you will not see the same sequence as someone with three weeks.
Ready when you are
You can start right after checkout. Enter your test date, take the first simulation, and the plan does the rest.
