Application: Initiating the Goodwill application process can be done by applying online and submitting one’s resume, along with other documents. More ways of applying can be performed in-person or with an employee referral.
Telephone Interview: For the first part of the interview process, candidates may receive a call from an HR recruiter. They will be asked various questions regarding their work experience, tendencies, goals, and skill set.
In-Person Interview: The number of interviews applicants will encounter differ based on the career they are applying for. Face-to-face interviews can be performed in a personal setting or with a panel/group.
Tests: Employers often conduct psychometric tests during the hiring process, in which they evaluate candidates’ cognitive abilities, technical knowledge, and personality traits.
The Goodwill test process encompasses several pre-employment tests. Specifically, one may be required to take the Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT). This is an aptitude test which is used to measure one’s cognitive capabilities and critical reasoning skills. The CCAT test evaluates one’s logical, mathematical, verbal, and spatial reasoning skills. Each exam assesses one’s scores by measuring the amount of questions answered correctly. The Goodwill assessment tests evaluate candidates’ various qualities, such as how they absorb new skills, think critically, and solve problems. The situational judgement test (SJT) and personality assessment are given to display one’s character traits and behavioral tendencies. The Microsoft tests may be distributed as well to determine one’s technical knowledge of platforms such as Excel.
