This test enables employers to carefully assess a candidate’s Microsoft Excel skills, as well as to decide if he or she is qualified for the offered position. The test is entirely interactive, attempting to simulate how Word is used in the workplace. This test is aimed at applicants for jobs that require the use of Word at its fullest capacity. Adecco Interview

The Adecco’s hiring process contains several interviews and tests. The first interview that you will be invited to, after you upload your application form on the Adecco’s website, is a phone interview. Be prepared to discuss your education and career goals with a Human Resources manager. If you successfully pass your tests, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview taking place in one of the Adecco’s locations. On this interview, you will meet with your prospective managers who will ask you competency-based questions. What they will want to ascertain is whether you possess qualities required to perform the job successfully. Practice with our interview kit and learn about behavioral strategies that you may adopt during your interview.

How is the Situational Judgement Test Structured?

The Adecco’s SJT test may come in several formats and it is important for you to be aware of the various possibilities. Some tests are linear based, while others are interactive in nature. So, what’s the difference? The linear format presents a number of questions to each applicant and in the same order, while interactive uses branching, meaning each answer will dictate the next series of questions. Questions and answers will vary from a specific work scenario with one unique solution to possibly multiple issues requiring multiple solutions. While there is no right or wrong answer, per se, scores are based on the best and worst alternatives as the tester sees it.

What is the Adecco's Face to Face Interview?

There are several different types of questions you may face during your interviews. Most interviews consist of competency-based questions, but some include job-related questions, maths problems, or riddles. You can also expect to be asked about your CV and your motivation regarding the position for which you are applying. To help you prepare for your interview and other assessments, we have created a unique preparation pack with all the resources you need. The pack features a detailed interview guide written by our accredited psychologists. This guide covers various aspects of interviews and offers important tips. It discusses, among other things, competency-based questions and how to use the STAR method when answering them. It also provides advice on how to answer common interview questions. Going over these principles and reading the guide can help you prepare for your interviews.
