The Inova recruitment process is outlined below:

  • Online Application: Applicants can start the application process online by creating an online profile and including their resume. Their profile will be viewed by a recruitment team to see if it fits the open position and if so, a recruiter will contact them by telephone or email.
  • Telephone Interview: If a candidate’s resume is chosen they may be asked to complete a telephone screen interview with a recruiter to discuss their qualifications and skills.
  • Tests: Certain psychometric assessment tests may be performed online and are composed of pre-employment tests which assess applicants’ cognitive abilities and personality traits.
  • In-Person Interview: If selected, applicants may have a peer interview with Inova employees. Candidates will be informed of the details of their interview by a recruiter and will be asked to submit an additional form beforehand.

The Inova Test Process

Applicants may have to complete psychometric exams which encompass certain aptitude tests such as the mathematical, verbal, and abstract reasoning tests. The verbal exam is encompassed by paragraphs describing diverse topics and poses questions to assess applicants’ verbal comprehension. The numerical test measures test-takers’ understanding of basic numerical functions. The abstract reasoning test displays pictures with logical relationships to see if applicants grasp the connection between them. The customer service test will help prepare applicants in strengthening their people skills. Essential competencies are evaluated and the character traits needed in providing high-quality customer service are highlighted. So too, Excel tests may be given to assess candidates’ ability to perform tasks in Microsoft's Excel.
