Bayer Hogan Personality Test

The Hogan Personality Inventory assessment measures your day-to-day personality, also known as the bright side. It assesses how you relate to others. Employers will use this assessment to determine how well you work with others, whether you lead or follow, and if you are successful as a leader and as a follower. JobTestPrep provides Hogan practice tests for the HPI.

Bayer SJT Test

Situational judgement tests (SJTs) are a popular psychological tool used by assessment companies, employers, and organizations to evaluate applicants' behavioral and cognitive abilities when introduced with hypothetical, daily work-related situations. SJTs do not consist of one uniform format and do not focus on strict criteria, but rather they serve as a tailored evaluation tool for a variety of positions and business sectors. Therefore, different companies and diverse positions within an organization require different questions and formats.

Bayer Mathematical Reasoning Test

Mathematical Reasoning tests are used by Bayer as a way to determine your mathematical abilities, some of which you may not have used in years. Our in-depth PrepPacks™ will not only help you brush up on these latent skills, but also expose you to the questions you will most likely encounter during your employment assessments.

Bayer Verbal Reasoning Test

The Verbal Reasoning Test – This test assesses job applicants’ ability to comprehend written material and draw relevant logical conclusions from it using verbal concepts. A type of an aptitude test, the Verbal Reasoning Test measures how well candidates can differentiate between important and secondary information given in written tests and how well they understand verbal logic. As a rule, the test presents applicants with several extracts from written texts followed by a list of statements about the information contained in them. Your task is to identify a truth-value of these statements relative to what you have just read. Depending on the relation of a given proposition to the truth, you will need to mark each statement either as “True,” or “False,” or “Indeterminate,” if there is not enough data to judge its validity. The Verbal Reasoning Test is timed and demands close attention from job applicants.

The Bayer Interview Process

Properly preparing for your interview takes more than a quick google search to find top interview questions. There are a number of factors to bear in mind before walking into the face-to-face. Learn all that you can about the company and its culture, take a look at the company’s social media outlets (FB and Twitter) to better get acquainted. Contemplate your skills, accomplishments and prepare numbers and statistics to show off what you have done. Lastly, practice a question and answer period in front of friends or the mirror, so the answers will roll of your tongue during the live interview.

You should choose "strongly agree" when the following types of questions are asked:

  • Most people are honest by nature.
  • Most people can be trusted.
  • Very few people steal at work.
  • I cannot remember the last time I lost my temper at work.

What is the Bayer's Panel Interview?

A panel interview is a part of the Bayer's face-to-face interview that usually takes place in one of its locations. Unlike other in-person interviews during which you talk to one or maximum two recruiters, the panel interview presupposes an interview with four or five people simultaneously. Usually, you will have a conversation with a Human Resources representative, with managers of several departments, your prospective managers, and team leaders. Questions asked in the panel interview are usually competency-based. But you can also expect situational questions, in answering which you will need to describe a situation where you encountered and successfully solved a problem by taking certain actions. If you apply for a technical position, you may also be asked technical questions aimed to evaluate your professionalism. The panel interview may last up to several hours.
