Hi,
The Pymetrics games do not give you a traditional score. You will not see a number or a percentage. Instead, you receive what is called a fit result, which shows how closely the way you played matches the way successful employees in that role have played in the past.
The system does not look at your resume or education. It focuses on your behavior across the games. It looks at how you learn, how focused and consistent you are, how you make decisions, and how you handle risk, feedback, and change.
Based on that, you are placed into one of three categories:
These categories are called fit bands. If you are in one of the top two, you are more likely to move forward. If not, the process might stop there, although it depends on the company hiring policy.
Some companies share this openly. For example, Hyatt’s candidate guide explains how they use Pymetrics results to evaluate behavioral fit.
From my experience, the candidates who perform best are the ones who understand that the system is looking for alignment and not perfection. They approach the games calmly and naturally, and that usually leads to results that reflect who they truly are.
