Greater Toronto Airports Authority’s Hiring Process

As the responsible party managing and operating the Toronto Pearson International Airport, the GTAA is always on the lookout for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join their team. If you are interested in landing a job with the GTAA or at the Toronto Pearson Airport, there are many stages in the recruitment process that you should first consider:

  • Application Process: More often than not, the application process will need to be completed online. To begin your online application, you will first need to go to the GTAA careers webpage and select a suitable role (this page can be accessed directly from the Toronto Pearson website). Once you have selected the most suitable position for yourself you will then be prompted to complete a registration and application form, then upload your resume.
  • Phone Screening Interview: If your application and resume are selected to continue the GTAA recruitment process, you may be contacted to participate in a phone interview. The phone interviews are usually conducted by a member of the HR department and will be used to gauge your interest and fit for the role you have applied for.
  • Online Skills Assessment: Depending on the position you are pursuing, you may be required to take one or more pre-hire online aptitude tests.
  • Personal Interviews: Your personal interviews will often be the final stage prior to receiving a job offer.

Greater Toronto Airports Authority's Pre-Hire Tests

To ensure that you have the skill sets necessary to complete the tasks stated in the job description, the GTAA may have you participate in a psychometric test. The two most common pre-employment tests that you will need to take during the GTAA hiring process will be provided by Hogan and Kenexa. Below you will find more information regarding each of the assessments that you are likely to take:

Hogan Personality Test

The Hogan Personality Test is often administered across the board to all potential GTAA employees. This test will evaluate specific personality traits that are being looked for by most employers. When using JobTestPrep's Hogan-style practice tests and study guides, you will be able to pinpoint your strengths and places for improvement in order to land the job you want.

Kenexa Assessments

The Kenexa assessments that you will be required to take during the GTAA hiring process will depend on the role you are pursuing in the company. These tests may include those for Microsoft Office skills, data entry and typing, accounting, bookeeping, reasoning (mathematical, verbal, logical), and a work persona assessment. Begin practicing now to overcome the competition & launch your career with the GTAA.
