Hooters Interview

The Hooters interview segment will be a standard affair including a screening phone call with HR and an in-house one on one interview with a hiring manager. Especially for ladies vying for “Hooters Girl” position, your form of dress will be considered as an important factor in the one on one. An important aspect of a successful interview in preparing answers to likely questions in advance. The difficulty level of questioning will fall in relation to the position you are looking to fill.

Interview Question for Thought

  • Have you eaten in our restaurant before? This question is actually an important one because as one looking to work in the service industry you must identify with the products the customers will be asking for. It is advisable that you eat at a Hooters before applying to get to know the vibe and menu.
  • Can you take criticism well? This question could be asked across positions, but if you will be customer facing it is crucial. Customers love to complain about everything and you have to be able to take it with a smile (unless you are Gordon Ramsay.) Give examples of how you succeeded in taking criticism under intense pressure, as there is no pressure like that of an eatery.
  • Why do you like our company? Whatever you do, do not say Hooters. Instead look up what the company is about in terms of its success against competitors, customer satisfaction, work atmosphere and more.

Cut-e Pre-Hire Exams

The type of pre-hire online testing will very much depend on what type of position you are vying for. For management position, you should prepare for pre-hire exams like Cut-e.

Numerical Ability

This test will vary from 5-12 minutes in length. It is your job to decide if a statement is true or false using tables, and charts to interpret the data.

Verbal Ability

This segment is 8-12 minutes in length depending on the complexity of the questions. Your goal in this test will be to draw not only conclusions from the text but also to unlock the tab from which to draw that information.
