Prepare for Gulf Power Company's Tests

If you are interested in applying for a position at Gulf Power, there are many stages that you consider. Regardless of the position or role you have applied for, the steps that you will need to

  • Application Process: In order to apply for one of the many available Gulf Power jobs, you will need to visit Gulf Power's careers webpage. From there you will need to create a user account in order to apply for the jobs being offered. Once you have done so you will need to complete the online application and upload your resume.
  • Aptitude Testing: If your application and resume are selected for the role you have applied for, a recruitment officer may contact you via email to participate in a skills assessment test. These tests are generally provided by EEI.
  • Personal Interviews: Your personal interviews will be held onsite and will either be held in a one-on-one, group, or panel format. Most of the questions that you will face during the Gulf Power interview process will be behavioral in nature.

It should be noted that behavioral questions are best answered using the STAR interview method.


Gulf Power Company’s Psychometric Tests

The tests that you are likely to face during the Gulf Power employment process will usually be provided by EEI (Edison Electrical Institute). The EEI exam that you will need to take and pass will be determined by the position you have applied for. EEI assessments will test your knowledge of assembly, mechanical concepts, mathematical abilities, reading comprehension, and more. The main EEI tests include the CAST, MASS, POSS, and TECH.
