As one of the largest agricultural lending cooperatives within the Farm Credit System, Farm Credit Mid-America is always on the lookout for the best and brightest individuals. If you would like to become an employee with the Farm Credit Mid-American company, there are many stages in their hiring process you should prepare for. The stages in the Farm Credit Mid-America recruitment process may include:

  • Application Process: To apply for the role of your choice you will need to visit the Farm Credit Mid-America careers webpage. Once you have selected an available job that matches your qualifications you will be prompted to create a new user account and upload your resume.
  • Screening Interview: Once your application and resume have been evaluated and matched for the position you have applied for, you should anticipate a screening interview. This type of interview will either be held over the phone or video conference.
  • Employment Exam: Regardless of the role you have applied for, you may need to take and pass a pre-hire aptitude test.
  • In-Person Interviews: The final stage in the Farm Credit Mid-America hiring process will be the personal interview round. These interviews will either be held one-on-one or before a hiring panel.

Farm Credit Mid-America Predictive Index Tests

Companies often have a clear idea as to which characteristics an applicant should possess to be considered for the role being offered. The purpose of psychometric testing during the hiring process is to assess skills and abilities not easily evaluated through your resume and interviews alone. Regardless of if you are going through the Oliver Group Leadership Transition Program (LTP) or have applied for a different role within the company, you may be required to take one or more psychometric tests provided by Predictive Index.

Preditictive Index Aptitude Tests

The Predictive Index tests include both a Behavioral Assessment and the Learning Indicator (PI LI) test. The Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment was designed to evaluate four primary personality characteristics, including dominance, extroversion, patience, and formality. Other traits that are often assessed using this test are decision-making and response level.

The Predictive Index Learning Indicator (PI LI) assessment was designed to measure your ability to understand complex ideas, adapt to an unfamiliar environment, learn from experience, effectively reason, and overcome obstacles. This assessment is made up of numerical, verbal, and non-verbal/ spatial reasoning questions.

JobTestPrep’s exclusive Predictive Index-style PrepPacks™ include everything you will need to familiarize yourself with the test formats and answers. This, in turn, will give you a major advantage over other applicants who may have also applied for the same position.
