Erie Insurance Process

The company has a wide range of employment options including actuarial positions, customer advocates, IT specialists, business analysts and so much more. Application

First, you will apply online by choosing your location and clicking on the job you would like to fill.

 

 

Interview

  • Interview 1: The first interview will take place over the phone and should last a total of ten minutes. The interviewer will review your CV, job history and skill-sets vital to the position. Additionally, you will be quickly briefed on the job specs.
  • Interview 2: The second interview will occur on sight with HR where you will review the financial package and have the opportunity to ask basic questions. This interview will last around 20 minutes
  • Interview 3: The third interview will take about 40 minutes with two department supervisors present to ask questions. This stage will focus primarily on behavioral and situational type questions.
  • Interview 4: Depending on the position you are vying for you may meet with the president of the department before they make a decision. In this interview, you will get curveball questions.
  • Last Stage: If you references check out ok and your pass the background checks (credit, educational, job and criminal) you will be ready to start on the team.

 

PLI Testing

The Predictive Index Learning Indicator (PI Learning Indicator) is given to potential hires to test for skills not easily found on a resume or during an interview. Its purpose is to measure your capacity to learn and adapt in the workplace and your cognitive ability. The test consists of 50 questions which need to be completed within the 12-minute time limit and includes the following topics: Numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning.
