CIT Group Interview Process

The company has a number of job and career possibilities including analysts, operations, auditors, recruitment, solutions architect, bankers and much more. Each interview process has unique characteristics and therefore we could not possibly touch upon each one. However, let’s get an inside look into the analyst interview process to give you a taste of how the company operates.

  • Interview 1: You will first meet with a marketing director who will review your experience and provide you with more in-depth info into the position. Take notes as the information will come in handy later.
  • Interview 2: The next interview is conducted with HR and is very behavioral based questioning with the intent of uncovering if you fit in culturally with the company.
  • Interview 3: Lastly you will meet with a VP for up to 25 minutes, who will go into your technical abilities and make sure that you can do your job.

    • A: If you have taken extra online courses or self-help then mention it, but if not talk about what you have learned on the job.
    • Q: Would you define yourself as a team player?
    • A: Take a project that you had to do within a team and speak about your role and how you pitched in to get the project done on time. Maybe add how you dealt with pressures and colleagues opinions that you disagreed with.
