Gallup's StrengthsFinder Test

Creators of Gallup’s StrengthsFinder assessment (GSF) are sure that you can foster your interpersonal communication progress, when you become aware of your characteristic strengths. By utilizing your natural talents, you can benefit your employer and achieve a higher level of performance in your workplace.

GSF is formally referred to as Gallup’s Clifton StrengthsFinder Assessment. With this behavioral exam, you will identify your unique strengths, defined by GSF as a combo consisting of knowledge, skills, and talents. The positive application of those strengths can make a world of difference in life as well as at work.

GSF's Format:

To identify your strongest qualities, StrengthsFinder will present you with 177 sentence pairs to be answered within an hour. Note that some of the pairs are opposites, some are similar in certain respects, and others have no apparent relationship. When you select the sentence that most closely reflects your thoughts, feelings, or behaviors, you reveal a total of 34 traits that the test evaluates.

After evaluating these traits, the test will single out your five, most significant qualities. Instead of trying to fix whatever ails your behavior, you are expected to apply your highest five natural talents in order to better effectuate the tasks associated with your position.

Among the 34 characteristics evaluated by GSF are the following traits:

  • Adaptability – adjusting to changing realities
  • Includer – accepting everyone
  • Ideation – interested in ideas
  • Empathy – feeling as though you are in the other person’s shoes
  • Competition – assessing your growth in comparison to others
  • Strategic – establishing alternative means to reaching goals
  • Restorative – problem solving
  • Developer – helping other employees to achieve their potential
  • Positivity – good karma and enthusiasm
  • Input – desire to learn

Although you are expected to give honest, impromptu answers on GSF's assessment at BT Financial Group, it does not mean that you should not get ready for your pre-employment assessment. If you come to your actual assessment without having previously worked on Gallup’s StrengthsFinder practice tests, the number of paired sentences, the minimal answer time frame of approximately three pairs per minute, and the varying relationships between each item in a pair will surely bewilder you. To avoid confusion, it is crucial to go through several dry runs of the test. Practice with JobTestPrep's tutoring materials and pass BT Financial Group's pre-employment assessment easily and confidently.

BT Financial Group's Interviews

To begin your application process at BT Financial Group, you need to upload your résumé and cover letter. After your documents have been reviewed, you will receive an invitation either for a phone interview with the company's representatives or a webcam interview, in which questions are prerecorded. If you are unsure that all information on your résumé is presented correctly, you are welcome to send it for a review by specialists. They will peruse it and will tell you how to stress its certain points stronger.

A Face-To-Face Interview

This interview will be conducted in person with a professional representative from the department to which you are applying. During the interview, you will discuss your past work experience and your reasons for applying for a specific role. You will also discuss technical aspects of the desired position, such as your workplace location and anticipated salary. Make sure to prepare for the interview by researching about BT Financial Group and its business goals.
