BluePearl Exams

The 24-hour animal hospital sometimes administers assessment tests to better understand their incoming employee. The reasoning behind it is to assess you in a fashion other than the traditional in-person interview. Through aptitude tests, one can see how they process written information and comprehension through verbal exams. Furthermore, BluePearl’s upper-management can cipher your evaluation and calculation skills via mathematical equations; and, most importantly, give you various situational based questions to formulate your personality and see how it lines up with the established BluePearl veterinary staff. Take note that even if you do not score your preferred job, there are multiple BluePearl locations you can choose from.

BluePearl Hiring Process

Depending on the position you are applying for, you can expect the BluePearl vet application process to transpire fairly quickly. Below is a breakdown of BluePearl’s recruitment process:

  • Online Resume Submission: On the main BluePearl’s website, you can find a list of vacant jobs, each broken down into multiple sub-categories. Within the BluePearl vet review, you can find job requirements, qualifications, benefits, expectations, and tips as to how to become successful after the acceptance of the position.
  • Pre-Employment Telephone Screening: Typically, the first wave of assessment comes through a telephone call. In this conversation, you will be questioned on an array of topics to see if you do not simply have the necessary qualifications, but also on your behavior and personality. If you pass the first wave, you will be invited to meet the upper-management in an in-person interview.
  • Face-to-Face Interview: The in-person interview will cover technical details about the position you are applying for. Likely, it will end with a brief questionnaire asking additional medical-related questions along with questions on topics such as, “Do you own pets?” Part of BluePearl’s mission is to create a professional staff of animal lovers.

BluePearl Interview Questions

BluePearl Animal Hospital questions have a long range of technical-related subjects followed by topics that revolve around pet lovers. We recommend using the STAR Method of responding. Below are a few examples you may encounter:

  • What draws you to BluePearl?
  • How would you respond to a client who has a very sick or dead pet?
  • What would you tell a client who is coming to pick up their pet after surgery?
