Altisource Hiring Process

The Altisource hiring process consists of the following steps:

  • Complete an application – Altisource utilizes Greenhouse’s applicant tracking system (ATS). Greenhouse is used to screen your application, resume/CV, and cover letter. This applicant tracking system assesses your application and documents for keyword-specific phrases. Learn more about how to beat applicant tracking systems on our dedicated page.
  • Telephone interview – This preliminary telephone interview is a chance for employers to assess your qualifications and experience, ask about your availability, and allow you the chance to ask questions as well.   • Assessments – Altisource utilizes an array of pre-employment assessment tests that vary depending on the job for which you are applying. Some of the tests you may encounter are outlined below.
  • In-person interview – This interview may be conducted as a one-on-one or panel interview. Arrive prepared and use this in-person interview as your chance to highlight your strengths, assets, and skills set.

Altisource Wonderlic Test

Altisource uses Wonderlic for its pre-employment assessment tests. Depending on the job level and position, you may encounter the “quick test” or the full-length test.

The Wonderlic Cognitive Ability – The Personnel Test, which measures your verbal and math skills, is designed to assess an applicant's ability to learn, adapt, solve problems, and understand instructions. The questions cover vocabulary and grammar skills, analogies, finding similarities, error detecting, number series, sentence structuring, idiom proficiency, and complex mathematical word problems.

There are two versions of this Wonderlic test – the Quicktest (WPT-Q) and the full-length version, Personnel Test (WPT-R).

The Wonderlic Personnel Test-Revised, also known as the Contemporary Cognitive Ability Test, consists of 50 questions and must be completed within 12 minutes. In order to answer all the questions within the time limit, it is vital that you sharpen your analytical skills, quick response times, and good decision-making skills. 

The Wonderlic Personnel Quicktest (WPT-Q), also known as the Wonderlic Pretest, is the shortened version of the Wonderlic Personnel Test-R (WPT-R). This version consists of 30 questions which are to be completed within eight minutes.
