Accruent Hiring Process

The Accruent hiring and recruitment process consists of the following steps:

  • Online application: The Accruent hiring process begins with an online application and questionnaire. This step provides you with the opportunity to learn more about the job, its responsibilities, and provide your personal and professional information.
  • Assessment tests: Once your application is complete, you will encounter two pre-employment assessment tests (outlined below). Be sure to review and prepare for these tests as they can be the difference in moving forward with a job offer or not.
  • Interview: You may be contacted for a preliminary telephone interview, and once you pass the assessments, you may encounter a variety of interviews—a second telephone or a conference call interview, a video interview, and an in-person interview. Be sure to review and practice for all types of interviews with our Interview PrepPack.

Accruent Assessment Tests

Accruent utilizes pre-employment assessment tests in their hiring and recruitment process. The tests you may encounter are as follows.

Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT)

The Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test (CCAT) is a pre-employment assessment that measures your problem-solving abilities, skill learning capabilities, and critical thinking skills.

The CCAT consists of 50 questions and has a 15-minute time limit. Very few people manage to finish the entire test within the time limit. Additionally, the test is comprised of three question categories—math and logic, verbal ability, and spatial reasoning.

CCAT scores are determined by a raw score (the number of questions answered correctly). This score can be converted into a percentile in order to measure your results against other applicants.

Accruent Personality Test

Accruent also utilizes personality tests in its hiring process. Personality tests are sometimes in-depth or brief assessments that measure your compatibility to the company and position for which you are applying, your ability to manage “work stress”, your approach to colleagues and teamwork, and your professional and personal characteristics and traits.
