Memorization - These questions test your ability to remember information such as pictures, numbers, or words. You will be presented with a selection and given five minutes to memorize it, after which the selection will be removed and you will be asked questions.
Coding - These questions assess your ability to properly understand coding guidelines in order to determine the correct code for given information, or understand what information can be inferred from a given code.
Inductive Reasoning - Questions that will require you to understand a rule by piecing together the different information given.
Deductive Reasoning - To solve these questions you will be required to correctly apply general rules to a specific problem.


Accounting Principals Mathematical Reasoning Test

Accounting Principals may require you to take a pre-hire mathematical reasoning test to assess your numerical abilities. As these tests are dependent upon your job level, the material being tested can range from basic arithmetic all the way up to higher level mathematical critical reasoning. Their mastery of the program is evaluated by a wide variety of tasks. Applicants may be asked to do formatting and to create borders or columns; or they may be required to edit: either to insert or replace, or undo rows. There are also tasks on the Microsoft Excel Test that invite applicants to create different types of charts and graphs or demonstrate how comfortable they feel using tools available in the Excel program. It may take up to 40 minutes to complete the test.

The Accounting Principals Situational Judgement Test (SJT) provides insight into your abilities to effectively approach conflicts and scenarios that may come up during the workday. You will also be asked to choose a series different statements that best or least describe you.
